Our 6 month old babies don’t like cold water. First we wanted to go to the Spa. But luckily we had the idea to buy a paddling pool. This is much cheaper and at least as much fun. We show you which babypool we bought!
Our paddling pool
We bought the pool from Peppa Pig size 122 x 23 cm.
It has 3 rings (i.e. 3 air chambers) and is inflated in a pinch. It has the perfect size so our twins can lay down in it because they cannot sit yet… and because there is grass below the pool it is also very soft!
The ideal water temperature
The water from the tap was much too cold for the babies. But with the help of the sun (and some loads of boiling water from our electric kettle) the water was quickly like 35 degrees celsius.
Shade
We have a wall that we can pull out so that the babies are in the shade:
We did not put too much water so that they don’t suffocate when the lay down.
Toys
They cannot sit without help. But when they will be able to sit there is even more space in the pool and they can play with our water toys. We are looking forward to this!
But they were still splashing around like there is no tomorrow!
Conclusion
